The 1970 basketball world championships were held in Yugoslavia, with the final round located in Slovenia, where in a state prison the inmates arranged with the warden that they are allowed to watch the decisive game between U.S.A. and Yugoslavia. During the game they are provoked by a guard and a large-scale riot breaks out. The inmates take over the prison, establish a committee, choose a leader and come up with six demands.
